Using Mieru
Mieru is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard License Agreement for apps (the “Licensed Application End User License Agreement”). These terms add to it; where they differ, Apple’s agreement applies to your use of the app itself.
What Mieru is
Mieru is a browser. The comics you read come from the websites you visit, not from us. Read Mode, ad blocking, downloads and translation work on pages you have opened yourself. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or terms.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the law where you live, including copyright law, and the terms of the websites you visit.
- Downloads are for your personal reading on your own devices. Don’t use Mieru to redistribute other people’s work.
- When a series is published officially, please support its creators by reading it there.
Translation
Translations are produced automatically on your device and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for your personal understanding only and are not a substitute for an official translation.
Copyright concerns
Mieru does not store or serve comics, so it has no copy of a work to take down. If you are a rights holder and believe Mieru’s site-support rules are being used in a way that harms your rights, write to [email protected] with the work, the website address and how to reach you. We review every notice and can remove built-in support for a website through an update that does not need a new version of the app.
No warranty
Mieru is provided “as is”, free of charge. We work to keep it reliable, but we don’t guarantee that every website will work in Read Mode, that downloads will succeed, or that translations will be correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of the app or of the websites you open with it.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date above; significant changes are also noted in the app’s release notes.
