Mieru is a free iPhone browser for manga, manhwa and manhua that blocks ads, turns chapter pages into a clean reader, and translates the speech bubbles right on the page, on the device.

One paragraph

Mieru turns the comic pages you open on the web into a native reader made for comics — vertical scroll for webtoons, pages right to left for manga — and blocks the pop-ups and redirects comic sites are known for. Speech bubbles in Korean, Japanese (including vertical text) and Chinese are detected one by one and rewritten in the reader’s language inside the bubble, sized to match the original lettering, using Apple’s on-device translation: no quota, no coins, no account. Chapters can be downloaded in the background and never expire, and one library keeps progress, bookmarks and history across every site. Mieru is a browser: it does not host or provide any comics.
